The following tables presents the in-vitro susceptibility of several bacterial species isolated in the Laboratory of Clinical bacteriology in the Kimron Veterinary Institute as well as trends in their resistance observed in the last 11 years. Please note that “Increase” means more resistant isolates whereas “Decrease” means less such strains. Drugs to which a decrease in resistance is reported should be, if possible, preferred.
In addition, the susceptibility of the bacteria, compiled by the specific clinical entities they are most likely to be isolated from, was compiled and may be seen here.
Drugs are color-marked according to their susceptibility rate:
90%
and above: red
75%-89%:
pink
74%
and below: black
Bacteria included are:
Salmonella enterica (all serogroups) (255 isolates). Origin: primarily farm animals.
Salmonella
enterica serogroup B (72 isolates). Origin: primarily farm animals.

Pasteurella multocida (102 isolates). Origin: farm animals and pets.
Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica (50 isolates). Origin: farm animals.
Proteus spp. (117 isolates). Origin: primarily pets.
Pseudomonas aeruginosa (116 isolates). Origin: primarily pets.
Staphylococcus intermedius (253 isolates). Origin: pets.
